Sparkle Updates for Mac HelpMate - added for Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and
10.5
- Sparkle will prompt the user to update the application when
a new version is available. This allows the user to update immediately
(if they have the appropriate permissions) or to defer the update until
a better time.
Clean Menu - added for Mac OS X 10.5
- Microsoft Office Cache Cleaning now supports Office 2008
- De-Serialize Microsoft Office now supports Office 2008
Prefs Menu - added for Mac OS X 10.5
- Hidden preference - stop Leopard from prompting you to use
a disk for a Time Machine backup each time it is mounted
- Hidden preference - allows you to use any AFP (Mac Network)
share for a Time Machine backup
- Toggle background stripes in the Finder's list view
- Toggle 3-D Dock appearance no matter the position
- Add mouseover effect to Stack in the Dock
- Toggle the element inspector in Safari

Zero-Configuration Alerts Tab - added for Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and 10.5
- Kernel panic alerts email the kernel panic log immediately
to the subscriber when one of their computers experiences a kernel
panic (a total system crash)
- Disk space alerts for any fixed, removeable, network, or
disk image file system - setting remain even if drive is dismounted and
continued when it becomes available
- Memory alerts for excessive pageouts or low free memory
- Alerts for S.M.A.R.T warnings - proactive alerts for
pending hard disk failures
Zero-Configuration Screen Sharing - improved for Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4

- Optimized code to pull down sharing URLs from the Auto
HelpMate connection manager into the popup button on the control tab

- Added AutoShare - which lets a consultant prime a copy of
Mac HelpMate to start screen sharing upon launching the program
- Added screen scaling and support for Mac OS X
command keys to the built-in VNC Viewer
Auto HelpMate Connection Manager - improved for Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and

- New "Web 2.0" look and feel
- Added sortable columns
- New server-side alerts will email uptime and downtime
alerts to the subscriber once, or on any interval chosen
- Status line at the top of the connection manager shows how
many registrations have been used as well as how many concurrent
connections remain
- Added password-protected group feature for delegation or
privacy of certain computer groups
